Description
The Gate House to Madresfield Court is a house built in 1901 by C F A Voysey. It is constructed of narrow red brick in Flemish garden wall bond, with limestone dressings and a hipped tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a symmetrical design with a driveway that passes through a central round arch with a stone surround. The windows have flush-faced stone mullions. On either side of the archway, there are three bays. Each central bay includes a two-storey gabled square bay window with four lights on each floor, while the outer bays have three-light windows. The inner bays feature four-light windows on the first floor and Tudor-arched doorways below. At each end of the building, the roof slopes down to a single storey. There are chimneys on the ridge aligned with the outer sides of the bay windows.
