Description

The north gateway, located about 20 meters north of the Manor House, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed from ham stone ashlar and features a wrought iron gate. The gate piers have chamfered plinths, rusticated ashlar shafts, and moulded cornice caps topped with step and necked squat obelisk finials. Between the piers is an early 20th-century metal farm-type gate. The gateway is flanked by rubble wing walls that curve outward, with vertically set stone copings extending from each gate pier. This gateway is part of the setting of the Manor House.
