Description
Church Farmhouse is a house from the mid-19th century that encases a 17th-century cottage at the rear. It is built of red brick and has plain tile roofs, forming an L-shape. The main front section features cross gables at the southwest end, with two matching gables that have coped and shouldered tops and stone finials. The first-floor windows and the ground floor window at the south end have cambered heads, while the west-facing gable includes a projecting tiled bay window. Each gable has an attached section with two brick gabled dormers topped with stone finials, two ground floor windows with cambered heads, and a door. The front range is from the 19th century and has a north end gable that resembles the south end. The rear range, which encases the 17th-century timber-framed cottage, features a weatherboarded east gable.
