Description
Church End Cottage is a 17th-century house featuring a timber-frame and red brick construction, with charming 19th-century additions. It has a plain tile roof and a large 19th-century external stack at the south end, which has diagonal shafts. The cottage is one storey with an attic and is adorned with decorative 19th-century bargeboards at the south end. It also has two picturesque hipped half-dormers with finials and iron casements. The ground floor includes two three-light casement windows and a central door that is sheltered by a 19th-century hipped tiled timber porch. Additionally, there is one window at half-storey level on the left end. Church End is built against the north end wall of the cottage.
