Description
This is a range of farm buildings dating from the mid-19th century, located adjacent to The Elms Farmhouse to the south-west. The buildings are constructed of brick with tiled roofs and form an L-shaped layout. The range includes a three-bay stable block that features a bay with opposing archways for wagon access. Next to the stable is a square dovecote, which has a pyramidal roof and a small pitched roof above the top entrance. The dovecote includes two doors and a loft door at the front, a lunette window at the rear, and a three-bay shelter or cart shed. At right angles to the shed is a three-bay barn that has a dentilled eaves cornice and a central wagon bay with opposing archways. The south-east gable end features another three-bay stable block. The main entrances of the buildings have cambered heads made of moulded brickwork, and both the barn and the adjoining stable block display diaper ventilation patterns.
