Adelaide House, 21, Wells Road and South Villa, 23, Wells Road

Adelaide House and South Villa, located at numbers 21 and 23 Wells Road, are a pair of early to mid-19th century buildings. They are two stories high and have rendered facades. Adelaide House (number 21) features a pediment above four windows, containing two blocked window openings and a cornice. Both properties have hung sash windows with glazing bars, with the central two windows of Adelaide House projecting slightly. The ground floor windows have rectangular dripmoulds, as do the two doorways. A later glazed porch has been added to South Villa (number 23), and an additional doorway is present at Adelaide House. The buildings are included in the list for their contribution to the group value of the street.
