BIRSTMORTON CP Tomb approximately 24 metres east of Church of St Peter and St Paul

GV II

Tomb. Early C19. Limestone on base of sandstone and stuccoed brick. Square plan with re-entrant corners, on square base. Frieze carved with foliage and swags. Above the moulded cornice is a shaped cap with acorn finial. East side carved with urn within raised oval. Other sides have inscriptions which include: "John Pinson of the Red House ... died 1820". "Charles Pinson ... died 1813".
