Description
This is a tomb located approximately 24 metres east of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from limestone on a base of sandstone and stuccoed brick, featuring a square plan with re-entrant corners on a square base. The frieze is intricately carved with foliage and swags. Above the moulded cornice, there is a shaped cap topped with an acorn finial. The east side of the tomb is adorned with a carving of an urn within a raised oval, while the other sides bear inscriptions, including "John Pinson of the Red House ... died 1820" and "Charles Pinson ... died 1813".
