Description
Rowe Farmhouse is an estate farmhouse built in the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features tiled roofs with parapets and kneelers at the gable ends. There are brick stacks located at the right gable end and at the rear left. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with an attic and cellar, and has a brick modillion eaves cornice.
It has three bays, with all windows featuring cambered heads. The outer bays have 3-light casements, while the first-floor left window is blocked. The central bay includes a 2-light first-floor window and a doorway topped with a broken pediment on console brackets, leading to 20th-century glazed double doors. There are also attic lights in the gable ends. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that has a dentilled eaves cornice. Rowe Farmhouse was formerly part of the Dudley estate.
