Description
Dunshill Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with possible earlier elements. It features timber-framing and a tile roof, framed in square panels. The main part of the house is aligned north to south. The southern end is a single storey with an attic and has an irregular frame. The east wall has a window on each side of the doorway, which is sheltered by a glazed timber porch. The northern end is two storeys high, with one bay on the left and a ground floor window on the right. There is a chimney on the south gable, located at the junction between the higher and lower sections of the house, and another on the front wall towards the right. At the rear, there is a wing of one storey with an attic that extends westward from the southern end. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in June 1986.
