Description

The barn at Saxon's Lode Farm is a mid-18th century structure built of red brick, featuring coped gables and a modern tiled roof. It has dentilled brick eaves and a cart entrance on the north side with a timber lintel. The walls include ventilation loops arranged in two bands. The barn consists of five bays and is supported by tie-beam-and-collar trusses. Above the south door, there is a carved lintel inscribed with 'IG and IK 1760'.
