Description

Saxons Lode Farmhouse is a timber-framed building with an 16th-century north end and an 18th-century brick addition to the south. It has plain tiled roofs. The north range has exposed timber framing; the north end bay is square framed, while the rest is partly cased in brick. A large brick stack with three diagonal shafts is located at the former south end wall. The brick range extends in an L-shape with a hipped roof to the south end. The west front has two windows on the first floor and two windows and a door with cambered heads on the ground floor, with one blocked window present. A brick band runs along the wall. A chimney stack is at the south end wall.
