Description
The Maltings is a house built in the early 18th century, constructed from chequered brick. It has two storeys and an attic, topped with a hipped plain tile valley roof. The building features brick stacks on the outside end walls and includes one large hipped dormer. The front facade has a regular arrangement of three windows, with brick dentilled eaves and brick bands above the ground and first-floor windows. The windows have gauged brick heads, and the casement windows include top lights, with triple windows on the outer sides and a pair in the centre of the first floor. There are iron opening lights as well. The central entrance door has a gauged brick flat head and is a six-panel door. There are rear additions and a lean-to on the north wall.
