Description

Cleeve Cottage is a cottage dating from the 14th to 15th century, likely extended in the 16th century. It features cruck construction, with a plastered south wall and painted brick north and east walls, along with an external stack at the east end. The cruck framing is exposed on the west end wall, and the cottage has a gable-ended thatched roof. It is one and a half storeys tall and has two casement windows on the south side. The interior consists of two bays, with one bay being cruck framed, and the east end is probably a 16th-century extension.
