Description

The stables located immediately southwest of Hope Farmhouse date from the 18th century and the mid-19th century. They are constructed of rubble with brick dressings on the 19th-century section and feature a plain tile roof that is hipped over the southwest range of barns. The building is one storey high with an attic, which is illuminated by three gabled dormers and has a gabled loft entrance. The ground floor includes two windows plus one additional window, with an off-centre door on the right side. There is a small ventilation slot to the right of the door and a straight joint to the left. A flight of steps leads up to the door located in the left gable end.
