Description
Nos 171 to 175 on Wells Road is a mid-19th century building that stands as a two-storey structure with a rendered exterior and a hipped slate roof. The facade features three windows on each floor, with hung sashes that include glazing bars, except for the central window, which is a 4-light mullion and transom casement set beneath a dripmould. The ground floor windows also have rectangular dripmoulds. The gabled center of the building projects slightly forward. The doorway is adorned with a rectangular dripmould featuring mask finials, and it has an arched entry with a round-headed radiating fanlight. The door for No 171 consists of six panels, four of which are glazed, while No 173 has a five-panel door with two glazed sections. No 175 is a one-storey extension that includes one window with hung sashes and glazing bars, a slate roof, and a half-glazed door with a radiating fanlight.
