Description

Nos 4 to 6 on Rectory Street is an early 18th-century building that is two storeys high. It features a timber frame lined with stucco to resemble ashlar, a brick plinth, and a wood cornice with ogee brackets. The roof is covered with pantiles. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars and flush frames. The ground floor of No 4 has a three-light casement window, while there is a six-panel door that is paired with No 5, which has a modern door under a single entablature. No 5 also has a small display window that replaces the original window. No 6 features a six-panel door set in a wooden pedimented case, along with two three-light mullion transom casements on each floor.
