Description
Retreat Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse made of brick, featuring a two-span tiled roof with a brick stack at the south gable end and another stack on the ridge. The building is two storeys high and has a cellar, with a dentilled eaves cornice. It has a layout of three plus one bays, where all windows have gauged flat heads and moulded architraves that are flush with the wall face. The windows are glazing bar sashes, although the ground floor window on the right end is blocked. The doorway, located at the centre of the left three bays, dates from the 19th century and consists of six raised and fielded panels, a barred segmental fanlight, a pilaster surround, and a broken pediment above. The interior has not been inspected.
