Description

The bridge in the grounds of Thorngrove is an early 19th-century structure made of sandstone ashlar and cast iron. It features three archways with rusticated voussoirs, and square piers at each end topped with pyramidal caps. The bridge is adorned with cast iron railings and lower dog rails, along with central "wheel" sections that have radiating spoke bars. Above these sections, there are wrought iron lamp holders, although the lamps are currently missing.
