Description
Wayland Farm House is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of brick with a corrugated tile roof. It stands two storeys high and features eight irregular bays. The doorway is located in the third bay. The windows are sash style with glazing bars on both storeys, set within moulded sunk quadrant jambs. The lower windows have gauged skewback arches above them, while the upper windows are topped with segmental arches. A continuous brick string course runs along the first floor. The roof is gabled, with a rebuilt stack positioned to the right of the centre and external end stacks. An outbuilding adjoins the north wall, which contains ovens and a fireplace.
