Description

The detached bellcote in Woodrising church yard is a structure that re-uses the late-Medieval bell-frame from the ruined western tower of the church of St. Nicholas. It was probably built in the 19th century. The bellcote features an open timber frame and has a hipped thatched roof. It is a low structure that is square in plan, with jowled corner posts, some arched braces, and a single bell.
