Description
Chase Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located in Cranworth, Southburgh. The building is constructed of brick with areas of limewash on the main block and a rendered clay lump service wing. It has black pantile roofs and is arranged in an "L" shape, formed by a lower service wing. The main facade is symmetrical, with three bays of sash windows featuring glazing bars under skewback arches. The front door is a two-stage design with a three-centred arch and a traceried fanlight, incorporating a raised and fielded panelled door. Wide eaves are present, marked by shaped and paired brackets, and the roof is hipped. The service wing retains some early casement windows.
