Description

Burton Farmhouse is a 17th-century and later farmhouse. It is constructed with a timber frame which has been faced with coloured washed brick laid on edge, and has a pantile roof. The building follows a lobby-entrance type plan, arranged over two storeys with an attic. The facade features a panelled front door positioned opposite an off-centre axial stack and five 18th- and 19th-century three-light casement windows. There is also an off-centre axial stack and a later gable-end stack. Later extensions have been added to the side and rear of the farmhouse.
