Description
The Old Rectory is a house dating from the late 17th century and later. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and rendered clay lump, with black pantiles and slate roofs. A double pile was added to the original house. The building features a two-storey gabled entrance porch and has two casements in original openings to the left. There is a 19th-century sash window with a hood mould on the first floor. The house has a gabled roof and extensions to the west that are two storeys high, dating from the late 18th century. The windows are scattered and include sash windows and casements, all with glazing bars. The roofs are gabled and have axial ridge stacks, with further similar one and two-storey additions to the east.
