Description
The Clock Tower of Little Ellingham Hall, built in 1855, is a notable structure featuring a clock tower and two cottages. Constructed from gault brick with red brick dressings and slate roofs, it has a cruciform plan centered around the clock tower. The cottages are two storeys high, designed with four gabled wings and partly external end stacks. Each storey includes two round arched windows with protruding keystones. There are two hipped porches located diagonally on the south and west sides, each with round arched openings. The square clock tower consists of three stages, displaying a clock face on the east side, with blank roundels on the other sides. A heavy brick cornice supports a domed timber cupola at the top.
