Description

Cadge’s Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse, encased in 19th-century red brick. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high with an attic, featuring windows in the gable ends. It has three windows, with 19th-century two- and three-light casements. A late 19th-century splayed bay was originally situated on the ground floor to the left, but at the time of a survey in 1976, it had been replaced by a modern bay. A Victorian gabled brick porch is centrally located, and a large brick chimney stack rises from the centre of the building. The interior contains chamfered beams and joists.
