Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse that underwent late 18th century remodelling of an earlier house. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply-pitched pantile roof. The building stands two storeys tall and has blocked attic windows in the east gable. The facade includes a three-window range that is widely spaced, with three-light 19th century casements. The ground floor windows have transoms and cambered heads. There are opposed entrance doors located in the north and south walls, with a later gabled brick porch added to the north side. The chimney stacks are off-centre and positioned at the east gable, both located on the ridge line. The gables are parapeted and coped, and there is a brick dentil course on the east gable.
Inside, the farmhouse features bridging beams with plain run-out chamfers, and the first floor joists are laid flat.
