Description

The water cistern at the southeast corner of St. Margaret's Churchyard is likely from the 18th century. It features a brick-lined chamber that is partly below ground, with the upper section forming an earth-covered mound in the churchyard. A circular brick "neck" protrudes above the mound, topped with a wooden cover for the chamber. This structure is included for its group value with St. Margaret's Church.
