Description

St Andrew’s Lodge is an early 19th-century house located on the Attleborough Road, Hingham. It is constructed of painted brick, with a low-pitched hipped roof featuring overhanging eaves. The house is two storeys high.

The east-facing elevation has three widely spaced sash windows, each with glazing bars and louvred shutters. A projecting doorway is located on the left side, featuring a round-headed arch, a semi-circular fanlight, and a flush-panel door.

The north elevation presents two two-storey canted bays on the left, each with three sashes. To the right is a round-headed sash window above a round-headed doorway, which incorporates a traceried semi-circular fanlight and a panelled door with a canopy.

The west elevation consists mainly of blank walls, but includes a round-headed doorway featuring a moulded architrave, a traceried semi-circular fanlight, and a panelled door with a canopy.
