Description

Holdfast Cottage is a 17th-century timber-frame house, largely rebuilt in red brick with a plain tile roof. It has one-and-a-half storeys and two ridge stacks. The house is positioned at a right angle to the road, with a central three-window range and a crosswing at each end. The central section has three sloping dormers, 19th-century paired bay windows with a lean-to tiled roof, and a two-light casement window. The wings feature casement windows. A porch is located on the west side of the house.
