Description

The Old House is a 17th-century house that was altered in the 19th century. It is timber-framed and has a roughcast front, with red brick visible in the side wall and timber framing at the rear. A large ridge stack is positioned off-centre. The house has two storeys and an attic. It has casement windows, and gables at each end with ornamental bargeboards. The front elevation has a three-window range with a door flanked by two-light windows on the ground floor; above are a single light, a pair of lights, and a single light. The right-hand gable appears to be original, while the left-hand gable is a 19th-century addition, revealing red brick to the side and rear.
