Description

A barn, now used as a store, was likely built in the mid-19th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill, a brick west gable, and a tiled roof. The barn has three bays, with a central wagon bay featuring cart entries that are now blocked on the south side. The timber framing suggests it may have originally been weather-boarded, with large rectangular lower panels and smaller square panels above. A queen strut truss is visible in the west gable end. The north elevation features double doors to the left and central bays, and a partially glazed door and paired casements in the right bay. Inside, the roof has single, trenched purlins and intermediate raking strut trusses, and the roof space has been floored. The barn is listed for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
