Description

The monument to the Hill family is located about 2 meters east of the east end of the Church of St Peter. This chest tomb dates from the early 18th century and is made of grey sandstone ashlar. It features a moulded plinth and capping, with gadrooned corner balusters on the wing sides that flank an inscription panel. The monument commemorates members of the Hill family who lived from 1594 to 1735.
