Description

This barn, located about 20 metres south-west of Heath Green Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid-18th century, with some repairs from the late 19th and mid-20th centuries. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, standing on a brick plinth and topped with a tile roof. The barn features three framed bays aligned in a north-west to south-east direction, with a central threshing floor. The framing consists of a single rectangular panel that is high and supported by straight tension braces. This building is included for its group value.
