Description
No. 45 Mill Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension to the left. It is constructed of brick with plaster dressings and features a tiled roof with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical two-window range, with a brick cornice. The ground floor windows have wedge lintels and all feature 9-pane sashes. The entrance includes a brick porch with rounded upper angles, a half-glazed inner door, and later glazed outer doors. To the right, there is a small gabled outhouse that has modillioned coping and a triangular-headed latticed light with a return entrance. The house has an end stack and a cross-axial stack, along with a rear gabled range. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
