Description

This is a terrace of three houses, located on Clifton Road in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, built around 1830. The houses are constructed of brick with ashlar stone detailing, and have a tile roof with brick chimney stacks. They follow a double-depth plan, with staircases positioned off the rear rooms.

The houses are three storeys high and have a three-window front arrangement. A sill band runs along the first floor, and a cornice sits at the top of the building. The windows have panelled wedge lintels topped with keystones. They feature 12-pane sashes on the ground and first floors and a 6-pane sash along with two later casements on the second floor. The paired entrances are accentuated by angle pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice, and currently have 20th-century doors. A similar entrance is found at the right-hand end of the terrace. There are an end chimney stack and a cross-axial chimney stack. The interiors have not been inspected.
