Description
This is a terrace of three houses located at 16, 18, and 20 Clifton Road in Wolverhampton, built around 1820. The houses are constructed from brick with ashlar dressings, featuring a 20th-century tiled roof and brick stacks. They have a double-depth plan with stairs located off the rear rooms. The terrace stands three storeys high and has a three-window range. There is a sill band on the first floor and a top brick cornice. The windows are designed with panelled wedge lintels that have keystones above 12-pane sash windows with moulded frames. The entrances are adorned with pilasters, friezes, and cornices, and they have 20th-century panelled doors. The left end has a stack, and there is a cross-axial stack as well. The interiors have not been inspected.
