Description

The Rushall War Memorial is situated in the south-western part of the churchyard of the Church of St Michael the Archangel. It features a painted oak Calvary cross with a tall circular oak shaft, which is set on a hexagonal stone plinth. This entire structure stands on a three-stepped hexagonal stone base. The western face of the plinth has a carved inscription that reads: TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD/ AND/ IN MEMORY OF/ OUR/ GLORIOUS DEAD/ 1914-1918.
