Description
Uplands House is a house, probably from the mid-19th century, with some earlier 19th-century features. It is built of stuccoed brick and has a tile roof. The house has two storeys and three bays. The windows have rendered reveals and projecting sills. Although the windows were boarded over during the survey, those on the first floor were reported to be sashed with margin lights. The left-hand bay features a single-storey canted bay window, while the right-hand bay has mid-20th century French windows. The doorway in the middle bay has a round head, and there is a moulded eaves cornice. The roof is hipped on the right side, with chimneys located on the left-hand gable and set back behind the ridge on the right. The right-hand return wall consists of two bays. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
