Description
These are two warehouses located immediately east of the Canal Bridge at Chance's Glassworks, built around 1853. They are constructed of brick and feature hipped slate roofs. Both warehouses are positioned next to the Birmingham Level of the Birmingham Canal and rise above the brick retaining wall of the canal cutting. They share similar dimensions and are connected by a low brick wall. The western warehouse has four tall blocked openings facing the canal, which have segmental heads, while the eastern warehouse has a blank wall. Inside, the warehouses feature bolted queen-post trusses.
