Description
Stourbridge Canal Warehouse is a brick warehouse built by the former Stourbridge Canal Company, said to date from 1779. It features a slate roof with gabled ends and has three storeys with five bays. The east end is partly semi-circular, reaching full height. On the canal side to the north, the ground storey has eight cast iron Doric columns, likely added in the 19th century, which support a bressumer on the first floor. Both the north side facing the canal and the south side facing the road have gabled and slated hoist houses that are cantilevered from the centre of the elevations.
