Description

Stourhurst House, located at 8 Lower High Street, is a late 18th-century building that abuts No 7. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features two storeys plus an attic. The façade includes two Palladian three-light angular bays extending over the two storeys. The entrance is highlighted by a stuccoed Ionic doorcase with a bowed pediment, a semi-circular window above, and a round window at the center. Additionally, there are three open pediments, with the central one being curved.
