Description

The Presbyterian Chapel, built in 1788, is located on the west side of Lower High Street. This rectangular building is constructed of red brick and features an advanced panelled porch that includes a stucced segmental-headed doorcase, with a date and Latin inscription above it. The porch is topped with a pediment that has ball-headed acroteria. The facade is adorned with two tall round-headed windows and one semi-circular window at the center, all beneath a dentilled pediment. Notably, the chapel was founded in 1698.
