Description

No. 176 on Lower High Street is a Regency building dating from 1682. It is constructed of red brick and stands three storeys tall, featuring three windows with plain keyblocks. The second storey has two moulded wood three-light windows, while the lower storey includes four small three-light bow windows set in angular bays. The entrance is highlighted by a stuccoed Tuscan doorcase with a pediment. A moulded wood cornice runs along the first floor, and the building is topped with plaster corbelled eaves and a parapet.
