Description
The seventh lock in a flight of eight on the Walsall Canal was completed in 1786. It is constructed of blue brick and features sandstone kerbs in the chambers, although these have been partly replaced by concrete. The lock has single gates and includes cast iron sluice gear on each bank on the upstream side. It is located approximately 80 meters northwest of Ryder's Green Road.
