Description
This is a footbridge over the Walsall Canal, which opened in 1786, located near its junction with the Tame Valley Canal that opened in 1844. The bridge dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of cast iron with brick abutments that feature some sandstone copings. It has a single shallow segmental arch, and the sides are designed with a lattice pattern of saltire crosses.
