Description
The fourth lock from the bottom of the flight of eight on the Walsall Canal, located approximately 300 meters southeast of Bridge Street, was completed in 1786. It is constructed of blue brick and features sandstone kerbs in the chambers, which have been partly replaced by concrete. The lock has single gates and cast iron sluice gear on each bank on the upstream side.
