Description
The third lock from the bottom of the flight of eight on the Walsall Canal was completed in 1786. It is constructed of blue brick and features sandstone kerbs in the chambers, although these have been partly replaced by concrete. The lock has single gates and cast iron sluice gear located on each bank on the upstream side. This lock is situated approximately 170 meters southeast of Great Bridge Street.
