Description
The sixth lock in a flight of eight on the Walsall Canal, this lock was completed in 1786. It is constructed of blue brick and features sandstone kerbs in the chambers, although these have been partly replaced by concrete. The lock has single gates and cast iron sluice gear located on each bank on the upstream side. The lock is situated approximately 200 meters northwest of Ryder's Green Farmhouse.
