Description

Nos 22 and 23 High Street are small terraced houses built around 1830. They are two storeys high and constructed of stucco. Each house features five sash windows, which are adorned with a frieze of paterae and shallow pediments supported by brackets. Number 22 has a square-headed doorcase, while number 23 has a recessed door set within a semi-circular headed pilaster doorcase that includes a vermiculated keyblock. There is a splayed bay window on the right-hand side of the ground floor. The buildings also have dentilled brick eaves and are covered with slate roofing.
