Description
Nos 9 and 11 on Soho Road are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of stucco and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys tall and have six bays, with giant Corinthianesque pilasters on either side and between the two houses. The ground floor showcases banded rustication, with each house having a central panelled door flanked by rectangular fanlights and reveals, set between Corinthian pilasters leading to a deep entablature. There are also two tripartite windows above the doors, each with bracketted cornices. On the first floor, there are six sash windows with marginal glazing bars and moulded surrounds, positioned above a moulded band. The eaves are adorned with a bracketted cornice.
